Bishop Allen was born in Person County to Deacon Horace & Deaconess Mary Allen. At age 14, he accepted Jesus Christ after dreaming that Jesus called him for a walk. His lovely wife is Josephine "Lady Jo"; their adults are Cherie, Angel, Johnathan, Joshua, Jackson & Jonte and the grandchildren are Amya & Johnathan Jr, and Alani. 

In Oct. 1992, he accepted the call to preach the Gospel and later was ordained at the New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Carterville, GA. He graduated from NC Central University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and earned a Master of Divinity in May 2011.  Allen completed clinical pastoral education (CPE) at Duke University Hospital and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at Newburgh Theological Seminary. He served as a Diocesan Bishop for the Worldwide Fellowship of Independent Christian Churches in OH. Bishop Allen loves the Lord, loves his family, and loves Welcoming Accepting people to Walk in Victory & Empowerment. 

Pastor Josephine Allen is a native of Roxboro, NC. Her parents: Edgar and Mary Scoggins, had a total of 12 children (six girls and six boys).  Her father, passed away in January 2007. He was a farmer who's primary crop was tobacco, everyone in the family helped out.  Pastor Jo is not a stranger to hard work! As an adolescent, she had questions about God and the church, because children were not allowed to asked such questions. She was baptized at the age of 13. After high school she attended ECPI in Raleigh, NC. 

Pastor Jo experience a life-changing event, during her time at ECPI; one of her friends who was an Evangelist, took them to a program where she saw Gloria Spencer sing and witness to the crowd. At that moment, she knew the Lord had a plan for her life and she mattered to God! Afterwards, she joined the military (1981). In 1991, during Operation Desert Storm, her unit the 30th Combat Support Group was deployed to Saudi Arabia and in 2003 to the War on Terrorism. She is also an OEF/OIF Veteran.  Later that year she retired with twenty-two years of military service to our Nation.

On August 24, 2002, she married the love of her life, Wallace R. Allen. Pastor Jo has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration (4.0 GPA) from Colorado Technical Institute. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalms 139.
